Easter: Moment of Loving and Reconciliation.

The Jewish people celebrated the Passover by sacrificing a lamb, within their specific rituals (see Exodus 12: 1-8, 11-14). We Catholic Christians, eat our Passover for the Holy Eucharist given to us every day at Mass .

Let us remember what Jesus said: "Having earnestly desired to eat this passover with you before we suffer. For I say unto you, I will not eat it again, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. Taking the cup, he gave thanks and said: "TAKE THIS CHALICE AND DISTRIBUTE IT BETWEEN YOU.

For I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God come. Then he took the bread and after giving thanks, broke it and gave it to him, saying:

"This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me." He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the New Covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you ..." (Luke 22: 15-20).

It should be noted that the old covenant was made with the Jewish prophets and patriarchs. The New Covenant was instituted by Jesus. He is the new and eternal Covenant !.
St. Paul says that without the resurrection of Jesus, our faith would be vain!

Easter is the apex of the Catholic Christian calendar. It is the moment of reconciliation with our brothers and sisters, and especially with God, through the Sacrament of Confession and, above all, the Holy Eucharist! That is why it is urgent that we prepare well to receive Holy Communion. Sublime moment that God gives us in his infinite goodness and mercy. Paul says, "Let yourselves be reconciled to God."

The message of Our Lady of the Salette, which appeared in the French Alps in September 1846, also comes in this tuning fork. Our Lady tells us about Sunday which is the day of the weekly "passover". It is time to receive the Holy Eucharist in an act of humility and love for our neighbor. Forgiving and receiving forgiveness is key to celebrating Easter with authenticity and depth. Let us reflect on this!

Easter presupposes a change of life; Greek metanoia meaning exactly this: change, transformation. May this Passover, Jesus, through the Holy Eucharist, invade our hearts, purifying us of all evil and giving us strength to face our daily tribulations.

HAPPY EASTER! TO YOU MY BROTHER AND MY SISTER OF THE WHOLE PLANET !. BLESSINGS OF HEALTH, PEACE, PROSPERITY AND MANY JOY IN YOUR HEARTS !.
SHALOM! PEACE! PACE! PEACE!
