Author: Antoni BigCuore *

Date: 10/03/2014
Time: 10.53 hours, Monday 6th.
We quote below the two main readings of the coming Sunday, 05 October 2014, later to do a reflection.

First Reading (Isaiah 5.1 to 7

Reading the Book o
f the Prophet Isaiah:

1Vou sing for my beloved the canticle of the vineyard of a friend: A friend of mine owned a vineyard in fertile hillside. 2Cercou it, cleared it of stones and planted vines chosen, and built a tower in the middle and built a mill; expected her to produce good grapes, but it yielded wild grapes.
3Agora, inhabitants of Jerusalem and people of Judah, judge my situation and my vineyard. 4The what could I have done more for my vineyard, and I did not? I had grapes true, but why it produced wild grapes

5Pois now I'll show you what I will do to my vineyard: I will dismantle the fence, and she is devastated; I will tear down the wall, and it will be trampled. 6Vou leave it uncultivated and wild: it shall not be pruned nor plowed, thorns and briers shall take care of her; not let the clouds pour rain upon it.
7Pois well, the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel and the people of Judah, his beloved plantation; I expected them fruits of righteousness - and behold iniquity; expected deeds of kindness - and behold iniquity.

Proclamation of the Gospel (Mt 21.33 to 43

At that time Jesus said to the chief priests and elders of the people: 33 "Hear another parable this: One owner planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, made it a mill to crush the grapes, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenants and went abroad.
34Quando harvest time arrived, the owner sent his servants to the tenants to get his fruit. 35th winemakers, however, seized his servants, and beat one, killed another, and stoned the third.
36O Again he sent other servants, more than the first. But they treated them the same way.
37Finalmente, the owner sent his son to them, thinking, 'When they will respect my son.'
38Os winemakers, however, when they saw the son, said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance! '39Então grabbed the child, threw him out of the vineyard and killed him

40Pois well, when the owner of the vineyard returns, what will you do with those husbandmen? "
41Os chief priests and the elders replied: "Absolutely send violently kill those evil and lease the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the fruits in time."
42Então Jesus told them, "You never read in the Scriptures: 'The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes? '
43Por that, I say unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a people who will produce fruit. "

                                ------------------------------------------------------
A. BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION: Jesus, the Master of all Masters, wore a great educational tool that was the parable, which is a simple form of a story that he, with great propriety, he taught them about the Kingdom of God.
To understand what Jesus meant, it is imperative to first understand that the People of Israel in the Old Testament, was the Chosen People of God, the pupil of their eyes. In the present case, the owner is God Himself. The vineyard is the people of Israel.

So God sends his own Son Jesus Christ, and "husbandmen" (meaning primarily the Pharisees and teachers of the law, specifically the Sanhedrin), send kill Him. Ie Israel REJECTS the Son of God himself, for not believing in a simple and humble God. They expected a God Warrior, Strong, a king born in a golden cradle. But, as Jesus came and was born in a humble stable, the Israelites did not give him the minimum

With the New Testament, Israel is no longer the chosen people. Henceforth came to be called PEOPLE OF GOD. All mankind is now the People of God. Even the Apostle Paul had many discussions with Peter, of how to evangelize. Peter wanted to evangelize Jews and Paul, with a much broader view, became the PREACHER OF THE GENTILES

As the prophet Isaiah says in the text above, the vineyard of Israel produced BITTER GRAPE !. But, the people who accepted and accepts Jesus as the Son of God, produces GRAPES SWEET, it brings God into your heart and never is able to produce evil actions. Its fruits are: kindness, solidarity, friendship, peace, hope and above all CHARITY

A question arises: my brother and my sister, who will be the vineyard of his heart produces only SWEET GRAPES? Or sour grapes and bitter? How is your heart before God? How long have not you confess to Him and to the Priest?
Think about it now, and have a blessed Sunday with much peace and joy in their hearts! GOD IS FOREVER praised and worshiped in the tabernacle OF YOUR HEART! Amen, Hallelujah!
