Biblical Foundation: Gospel according to Matthew, 21, 28-32. 

"At that time Jesus said to the priests and elders of the people: 28" What do you think? A man had two sons. Addressing the first, he said, 'Son, go work today in the vineyard!' 29th son answered: 'I do not want'. But then changed his mind and went.
30The father went to the other son and said the same thing. He replied: 'Yes, sir, I will.' But it was not. 31Qual the two did the father's will? "

The chief priests and the elders answered, "The first."
Then Jesus said unto them, "Verily I say unto you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes precede you into the Kingdom of God. 32Porque John came to you in a way of righteousness, and you did not believe him. Rather, the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. You, however, even seeing it, repented not to believe him. "(1) 

A.BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION: 

SCENARIO: Parable; 2 children as evelho and younger; chief priests and elders of the people.
Jesus in dialogue with his disciples and teachers of the law, tells them a parable about a man who had two sons. The more old was invited to work in the vineyard of the Father and said would NOT, but it was. 

The younger one said to the Father that he would, but it was not. Which of the two, Jesus asks, did the Father's will? They wisely answered the first, the oldest.
This text leads us to the central idea of ​​REPENTANCE. All of us, Christians and non-Christians, sin and repent often. That is why it is imperative to confess our sins to God and the priest. (In the specific case of the Catholic Christian). 

How many times in the pulse of our heart we say negative things, to gossip, slander, against a person, or even to the priest of our parish and then calmly think: "I should not have said that"; missed a great chance to remain silent! Is not that what happens to us? Yeah, well, we really are sinners and all the time we are bombarded by the "evil" divert us from the ways of the Lord and His fall into snares.
Therefore, Jesus knowing our weaknesses, left a great legacy on the Cross, which are the sacraments, particularly the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.
These are the main weapons of the Catholic Christian to face the harsh battles that waged daily in our lives. 

My brother and my sister, how long do you no confession? Is it not time to be reconciled to God? Think of it as !.

Fundamento Bíblico: Evangelho segundo Mateus, 21, 28-32.

“Naquele tempo, Jesus disse aos sacerdotes e anciãos do povo: 28“Que vos parece? Um homem tinha dois filhos. Dirigindo-se ao primeiro, ele disse: ‘Filho, vai trabalhar hoje na vinha!’ 29O filho respondeu: ‘Não quero’. Mas depois mudou de opinião e foi.

30O pai dirigiu-se ao outro filho e disse a mesma coisa. Este respondeu: ‘Sim, senhor, eu vou’. Mas não foi. 31Qual dos dois fez a vontade do pai?”

Os sumos sacerdotes e os anciãos do povo responderam: “O primeiro”.

Então Jesus lhes disse: “Em verdade vos digo que os cobradores de impostos e as prostitutas vos precedem no Reino de Deus. 32Porque João veio até vós, num caminho de justiça, e vós não acreditastes nele. Ao contrário, os cobradores de impostos e as prostitutas creram nele. Vós, porém, mesmo vendo isso, não vos arrependestes para crer nele”.( 1 )

REFLEXÃO DE A.BIGCUORE: 

CENÁRIO: Parábola; 2 filhos o mais evelho e o mais novo; chefes dos sacerdotes e anciãos do povo; prostituta, pecadores e arrependimento.

Jesus em diálogo com seus discípulos e mestres da lei, lhes conta uma parábola sobre um homem que tinha dois filhos. O mais velho foi convidado a trabalhar na vinha do Pai e disse que NÃO ia, mas foi.

O mais novo disse ao Pai que iria, mas não foi. Qual dos dois, indaga Jesus, fez a vontade do Pai? Eles responderam sabiamente o primeiro, o mais velho.

Este texto nos remete à ideia central  do ARREPENDIMENTO e a necessidade de conversão. Jesus bate de frente com os fariseus, anciãos e mestres da lei  sobre as suas incredulidades. Veio João, o último dos Antigos Profetas, para lhes mostrar o caminho da justiça;  fez vários sinais e eles não ACREDITARAM.

Veio Ele, o Mestre, o Verbo Encarnado, fez centenas e centenas de milagres e sinais e, também, eles não ACREDITARAM NELE e, portanto, não se converteram.  Porisso, JESUS bate forte nas elites da época, dizendo que “os pecadores e prostitutas os precederão no Reino dos Céus.

Todos nós, cristãos e não cristãos, pecamos e nos arrependemos muitas vezes. Porisso que é imperativo CONFESSAR NOSSOS PECADOS a Deus e ao sacerdote.(no caso específico do cristão católico).

Quantas vezes, no impulso de nosso coração, dizemos coisas negativas, até fofocas, maledicências, contra determinada pessoa, ou mesmo, até do padre de nossa paróquia e, depois com calma, pensamos: “eu não devia ter dito aquilo”; perdi uma grande chance de ficar calado! Não é isso mesmo que acontece conosco? Pois, bem, somos mesmo pecadores e a todo instante somos bombardeados pelo “ Malígno”  que tenta  nos desviar dos caminhos do Senhor e cair nas insídias dele.

Por isso que, Jesus sabedor de nossas fraquezas, deixou um grande legado na Cruz, que são os sacramentos, sobretudo, os sacramentos da Reconciliação e da Santa Eucaristia.

Essas são as principais armas do cristão católico para enfrentar as duras batalhas  que travamos diariamente em nossas vidas.

Todos nós somos convidados a trabalhar na VINHA DO SENHOR!. A escolha é simplesmente nossa. Depende unica e exclusivamente de nossa vontade. Escolhamos o caminho da felicidade; escolhamos o caminho do verdadeiro AMOR que é o tipificado nos Santos Evangelhos. Escolhamos o caminho de Jesus!.

Meu irmão e minha irmã, quanto tempo faz que você nao se confessa? Será que não está na hora de se RECONCILIAR COM DEUS? Pense nisso, pois!.

Que desce sobre voce AGORA, sobre sua família, sobre seu trabalhos, estudos  e seus negócios, a BENÇÃO, do Deus infinitamente misericordioso e TodoPoderoso, Ele que é Pai, Filho e Espírito Santo. Amém!. Feliz e santa semana a todos(as)!.

A Casa se Constrói Com a Sabedoria

“O convite da Sabedoria. Capítulo 9, versículo 1, do Livro dos Provérbios, diz:  “A Sabedoria construiu a casa, trabalhando suas sete colunas. 2.Abateu seus animais, preparou o vinho e pôs a mesa. 3.Enviou suas criadas para anunciar nos pontos mais altos da cidade: 4.”Os ingênuos venham até aqui. Quero falar aos que não têm juízo. 5.Venham  comer do meu pão e beber do meu vinho que eu preparei. 6.Deixem de ser ingênuos, e vocês viverão; SIGAM O CAMINHO DA INTELIGÊNCIA”. ( 1 ) 

No capítulo 4, versículos 3, do mesmo Livro dos Provérbios, diz: “Com a SABEDORIA se constrói a casa, e com a prudência ela se firma. 4.Pelo conhecimento, os quartos ficam cheios de bens preciosos e agradáveis”. (2 )

Reflexão de A.BigCuore: A inteligência é um dos 7 dons do Espírito Santo de Deus que recebemos ao ensejo de nosso batismo. (Sabedoria, Inteligência, Conselho, Fortaleza, Ciência, Piedade e Temor de Deus, estes são os 7 dons).

Sabedoria e Inteligência são irmãs siamesas. O Rei Salomão, quando o Senhor Deus, disse a ele que pedisse o que quisesse, ele pediu a Sabedoria!. É notória a sua sabedoria nos livros chamados sapienciais, constantes no Antigo Testamento.

A sabedoria é o TESOURO mais valioso criado pelo Senhor Deus!. Quem deixa a sua vida ser pautada por ela, encontrará a VERDADEIRA FELICIDADE!!! Jamais cairá nas insídias do Malígno; seus frutos serão sempre doces e deliciosos!.

Se nossas autoridades tivessem SABEDORIA para dirigir os destinos de nosso Brasil, certamente, nosso País seria outro bem diferente. Não haveria tantas desigualdades sociais; tanta falta de educação; tanta CORRUPÇÃO e vícios sociais.

A Sabedoria é o combustível que move as Nações Desenvolvidas!

Que os humanos saibam se nutrir dessa SEIVA vivificante! Amém!

Biblical foundation - Matthew 20, 1-16 - Isaiah 55: 6-9 - Psalm 144 

The reflection this Sunday is based on the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 20, verses 1-16, transcribed below:
At that time, Jesus told this parable to his disciples:
1 "The kingdom of heaven is like the story of the boss who went out at dawn to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2Combinou with workers one denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3The nine in the morning, the boss went out again, and saw others standing in the square, unemployed, 4and said to them, 'Go ye also into the vineyard! And I will pay you whatever is right. 

'5D they were. The boss went out again around noon and three o'clock, and did likewise.
6Saindo again about five o'clock in the afternoon, and found others standing in the square, and said to them, 'Why stand ye here all the day idle?' 7Eles answered, 'Because no one hired us.' The boss said to them, 'Go ye also into my vineyard.'
8Quando reached late, the boss told the manager, 'Call the laborers and pay them a daily everyone, beginning from the last unto the first!'

A.BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION: Can we infer from this beautiful passage from Matthew's Gospel, that God is no respecter of persons. All are invited to the Kingdom of God. Are recipients of His infinite mercy all. As one Jesuit priest I have met in 60 years, that if God is simply being FAIR, no one on earth would be saved. 

The divine logic is quite different from human logic. It not based on meritocracy as the Jews of Jesus' day understood. The text does not say, but probably the workers soon began very early and therefore worked all day complained that they were receiving little regarding those workers who were invited to work in the vineyard and the evening were the strongest men therefore his administrator had been invited to work all day. 

They were jealous of those who worked only ¼ of the day set. But God was with all FAIR. Everyone promised them a silver coin and did so.
Specifically noted that the pastoral, in general, acting in their respective parishes. Some work harder than others because we often have more time than others. The retirees, for example, has more time than a young man who works all day. Thus by every Christian in his power MUST for your talent to the community. Put aside the "gossips", the "jealous", because what counts is the WORK HELD BEFORE THE EYES OF GOD!.

The Kingdom of God is always under construction. Each generation does its part. That is why the world today is in need of being reevangelizado, because the harvest is plentiful but the workers are missing.

Fundamento bíblico – Mateus 20, 1-16 – Isaías 55, 6-9 – Salmo 144

A reflexão desse domingo está baseada no Evangelho de Mateus, capítulo 20, versículos de 1 a 16, transcrito abaixo:

                                                Naquele tempo, Jesus contou esta parábola a seus discípulos:

1“O Reino dos Céus é como a história do patrão que saiu de madrugada para contratar trabalhadores para a sua vinha. 2Combinou com os trabalhadores uma moeda de prata por dia, e os mandou para a vinha.
3Às nove horas da manhã, o patrão saiu de novo, viu outros que estavam na praça, desocupados, 4e lhes disse: ‘Ide também vós para a minha vinha! E eu vos pagarei o que for justo’. 5E eles foram. O patrão saiu de novo ao meio-dia e às três da tarde, e fez a mesma coisa.
6Saindo outra vez pelas cinco horas da tarde, encontrou outros que estavam na praça, e lhes disse: ‘Por que estais aí o dia inteiro desocupados?’ 7Eles responderam: ‘Porque ninguém nos contratou’. O patrão lhes disse: ‘Ide vós também para a minha vinha’.
8Quando chegou a tarde, o patrão disse ao administrador: ‘Chama os trabalhadores e paga-lhes uma diária a todos, começando pelos últimos até os primeiros!’
9Vieram os que tinham sido contratados às cinco da tarde e cada um recebeu uma moeda de prata. 10Em seguida vieram os que foram contratados primeiro, e pensavam que iam receber mais. Porém, cada um deles também recebeu uma moeda de prata.
11Ao receberem o pagamento, começaram a resmungar contra o patrão: 12‘Estes últimos trabalharam uma hora só, e tu os igualaste a nós, que suportamos o cansaço e o calor o dia inteiro’.
13Então o patrão disse a um deles: ‘Amigo, eu não fui injusto contigo. Não combinamos uma moeda de prata? 14Toma o que é teu e volta para casa! Eu quero dar a este que foi contratado por último o mesmo que dei a ti. 15Por acaso não tenho o direito de fazer o que quero com aquilo que me pertence? Ou estás com inveja, porque estou sendo bom?’
16aAssim, os últimos serão os primeiros, e os primeiros serão os últimos”.( 1 )

REFLEXÃO DE A.BIGCUORE: Podemos depreender dessa bela passagem do Evangelho de Mateus, que Deus não faz distinção de pessoas. Todas são convidadas para o Reino de Deus. Todos são destinatários de sua INFINITA MISERICÓRDIA. Como dizia um Padre jesuíta que conheci nos anos 60, que se Deus for ser simplesmente JUSTO, ninguém na face da terra se salvaria.

A lógica divina é bem diferente da lógica humana. Ela não baseia na meritocracia conforme os judeus da época de Jesus entendiam. O texto não diz, mas provavelmente os trabalhadores que começaram logo cedinho e, portanto, trabalharam o dia inteiro se queixavam de que estavam recebendo pouco, com relação aqueles trabalhadores que foram convidados a trabalhar na vinha bem a tardinha, eram homens mais fortes porisso o administrador da vinha os convidou a trabalhar o dia inteiro.

Ficaram com ciúmes daqueles que trabalharam somente ¼ do dia ajustado. Mas, Deus foi JUSTO com todos. A todos lhes prometeu uma moeda de prata e assim o fez.

Concretamente notamos isso nas pastorais, de um modo geral, que atuam em suas respectivas paróquias. Uns trabalham mais que os outros porque, muitas vezes, tem mais tempo que os outros. O aposentados, por exemplo, tem mais tempo que um jovem que trabalhe o dia inteiro. Por sisso, cada cristão dentro de suas possibilidades DEVE por o seu talento à disposição da comunidade. Deixem de lado, as “fofoquinhas”, os “ciuminhos”, pois o que vale é a OBRA REALIZADA DIANTE DOS OLHOS DE DEUS!.

O Reino de Deus está sempre em construção. Cada geração, faz a sua parte. Porisso que o mundo atual está precisando de ser reevangelizado, pois a messe é grande mas faltam operários.

“No Reino não há lugar para ciúme. Aqueles que julgam possuir méritos do que outros devem aprender que o Reino é DOM GRATUÍTO”. ( 2 )

This Sunday near the Holy Catholic Church celebrates the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, symbol of redemption and salvation for Christians. 

"13.Ninguém ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. 14.Assim as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. 15.Assim, whosoever believe in him, in him will have eternal life. "
"16.Pois God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE. 17.De fact, God sent his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. "(1) (emphasis added). 

A.BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION: wonderful text of the Gospel of John, where Jesus makes it clear in the dialogue with Nicodemus, the pathway of discipleship is the way of the Cross. There is no resurrection without the cross! 

By accepting Jesus did not think that all your problems have been solved, as some pastors preach. Not just ADMIRE Jesus !. It is imperative to roll up their sleeves and engage in pastoral work and contribute thus to the improvement of the KINGDOM OF GOD. Having faith in Jesus, assume ATOS CONCRETE love of neighbor. As Paul says, "love is the bond of perfection." In one of his letters John says: "FAITH WITHOUT WORKS is DEAD" !.
The Cross symbolizes the ultimate revelation of God to men and also the symbol of salvation of Christians. To illustrate, let us reflect on the Book of Numbers, Chapter 21 In the desert the people murmured against Moses, saying: "5.Por that took us out of Egypt? Was to die in the wilderness? We have neither bread nor water, and we're sick of this bread of misery. "(Numbers 21: 5).
Moses sends poisonous to poke their bodies and many died snakes. As a result, the Jews cry out to Moses that the Lord God (Yahweh) to stop them sending poisonous snakes. So God tells Moses to make a bronze snake and put on a pole, so that everyone who is bitten and look at that rod will be healed. (idem, vs. 6-9). 

The Evangelist John sees in this passage the person of Jesus crucified. 

My brothers and sisters, follow the path of CROSS is difficult, but Jesus left us the MID; the REMEDY for Christians to have strength, health and courage to follow his footsteps. Let us above all the sacraments of Reconciliation (Confession) and Holy Eucharist. It is Jesus himself who gives FREE, every day, in celebration of the Mass. (distribution of eucharistic bread).
The greatest act of love: JESUS ​​GIVE YOUR OWN LIFE, being slain an evil tree (for the Jews was the worst existing death, destined to thugs and criminals of the highest caliber) in favor of all mankind! 

Heavenly Father God loved the world so that he sent his only begotten Son himself for the salvation of mankind. Want greater love than this? God's love is pure and true, what is better, completely free !!!. It does not require anything in return !. He gives us free will even to deny it to the world! Because it made ​​us free !!! 

Who is condemned or saved, does freely, ie, by conviction! God loves everyone without distinction. Only He respects our choice and every choice is worth remembering, has a consequence in the future according to the decision. 

We choose the best and the best is the path indicated by the Master Jesus: "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NO ONE GOES TO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME." (Jn 14.6). Note that Jesus does not say I am a way, a truth a life, but rather the ONLY WAY, THE TRUTH AND ONLY ONE LIFE !!!
Let us make our choice by Jesus, for He alone can lead us to safe harbor !. Amen!
