Persistir Na Oração

Antoni BigCuore*

9Portanto, eu vos digo: pedi e recebereis; procurai e encontrareis; batei e vos será aberto.

PERSIST IN PRAYER

Antoni BigCuore *

Today's Gospel, according to the Catholic liturgy, in Luke, chapter 11, verses 5-13.

At that time Jesus said to his disciples: 5 "If one of you has a friend and shall go unto him at midnight and say to him: 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, a friend of mine came 6porque travel and I have nothing to offer ', 7e is the other answer from within,' Do not bother me I locked the door, and my children and I are in bed, I can not stand to give you anything '; 8EU tell you, even if the other not to give them up because it's your friend, will rise at least because of the impertinence of it and give you as necessary.

9Portanto, I say to you: Ask and you shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened. 10Pois who asks receives, who seeks, finds, and to him who knocks, opens. 11Será that some of you who is the father, if his son ask a fish, will give him a snake? 12Ou even if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13Ora, if you who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! "Word of Salvation!

A.  BigCuore`s Reflexion: Prayer is a dialogue with God, an impulse of the soul in prayerful dialogue with God leads, in a position of humility. It is an act of speaking and listening. God speaks to us through the action of the Holy Spirit. In silence, God is manifest through him (Divine Spirit), communicating your message. And the person who prays, in turn, also speaks to our hearts what God wants to communicate.

Today's Gospel reminds us of the idea of persistence in prayer. It is imperative to persevere, not only in social and professional life but especially in spiritual life, we now emphasize.

Jesus clearly tells us that whoever asks receives, who seeks finds; receives him who knocks the door open etc..
Faith is God's gift. We built it on a daily basis for the persistence in the study of Scripture and the sacraments, above all, the Confession and Eucharist.

My brother and my sister, if you want some grace of God, ask the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, that he send the Holy Spirit and He in due time, will grant you grace. Amen!
Blessings of health, peace, prosperity, harmony, and joy in theirs hearts.
